OFFICE ASSISTANT - BUILDING DEPARTMENT




The Town of Dennis seeks qualified applicants for the full-time (35 hr./wk.) position of Office Assistant for the Building Department. The Office Assistant is responsible for the provision of a wide range of clerical support services assisting in the day to day administrative operation of the department.

This position is responsible for the following duties including but not limited to assisting the general public with departmental procedures and application processes involving various permits and licenses, collecting and recording fees, assisting in scheduling inspections, recording complaints for staff review, provides clerical support to the historic, if necessary and performs general office work.

Requirements: High school diploma, at least 1.5 years general office experience, excellent computer skills and the ability to work effectively in busy office with little supervision.

Fully benefited position. Starting Salary range: $20.39 - $22.97/hour
